GVCM has a three-doctor clinic in Mirebalais – a nearby town with around 130,000 people.
This clinic and its dedicated, all-Haitian staff treat around 1,000 patients a month. They provide quality medical care, a pharmacy, and lab services for a nominal fee which covers about half the cost of operating the clinic. You can see our clinic on our map.
While patients are charged around $1 for service (if they can afford it), there is a large gap between the care they need and the care they can afford.
In addition to this permanent clinic, American missions teams also provide medical day clinics from our local churches several times a year. These day clinics provide free care for as many as 5,000 additional patients each year.
