Church Partnership

GVCM Church Partnership Program Purpose

GVCM’s focus is on the rural areas of Haiti where the people have few choices and minimal access to health, education, and good Bible teaching. Although they have limited resources and most are bi-vocational, poor pastors are leading the charge for Christ in Haiti. Of the many churches that GVCM partners with, we are not able to offer monthly financial support to at least half.

The GVCM Church Partnership program connects an existing Haitian church with an American church in order to provide the physical resources to sustain and expand the Haitian church as well as to provide spiritual encouragement to both the Haitian and American churches.

Program Overview

This program is highly customizable to the size and vision of your church. Each Haitian church can have multiple financial sponsors at $40 a share, but it will have only one American church partner.  The church partner will commit the largest share of that monthly support for our Haitian churches, which can range from as low as $120 to as much as $400+, depending on the size of the Haitian church you choose to partner with.

That money is then distributed to Haitian churches and their associated schools, who use it to do community outreach and evangelism (such as providing some simple food after church), buy school supplies, maintain their facilities, as well as supplement the incomes of pastors, school teachers, and other church staff.

You will receive periodic updates from GVCM about how your partner church is doing along with information about what God is doing in that community.

In addition to monthly support, this partnership also confers the ability, though not the obligation, to partner with the Haitian church in more individualized and hands-on projects. That might mean visiting the church on a missions trip and doing some joint evangelism or a vacation Bible school, or it might mean launching a fundraiser to help with a major building project or drilling a well. All of these Haitian churches are in communities that are both physically poor and most are highly receptive to the Gospel. Your imagination is the limit in what you can achieve for the Kingdom.

Regardless of your support, these Haitian churches will continue to collect tithes and offerings, school fees, and most of the pastors will continue to be bi-vocational. These churches are already invested in their own success, but if you invest alongside them, they can accomplish much more.

If your church or organization is interested in partnering with a Haitian church, you can contact our Director of Communications, Karen at
