Donate Investments
GVCM can receive gifts of stock, bonds, or mutual funds directly from your broker. This is a tax-wise way to serve the people of Haiti.
Consult your investment manager to complete your donation. This is the information you will need.
Broker name: Charles Schwab & Co. Inc
Account Title: Global Vision Citadelle Ministries
Account number: 59385380096747829
DTC Number: 0164
GVCM Federal Tax ID Number: 01-0717802
Contribute from your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can donate to GVCM directly from your IRA. This distribution is not treated as taxable, and can be counted against your required minimum distribution. Giving this way can save you quite a bit on your taxes, especially if you do not itemize your deductions.
Do not withdraw the funds from your account, have your IRS custodian send the donation directly to GVCM.
Donate Physical Items
We do not need many physical donations as the cost of shipping and taxes often exceeds the value of the goods we receive.
We are grateful for certain goods that we use often, or which are of high value. Shipping to Haiti can be very slow, so please do not provide anything perishable that will expire within nine months.
If the items you would like to donate are on this list (GVCM Donation Needs), or if they are of high value, please make arrangements to deliver them to our warehouse by contacting Marc at marc@gvcm.org
If you want to bring the items in your luggage on a missions trip, you can learn more about what we need here: Blessings you can pack
