Dear friends of GVCM, What a time to remember all the good things the Lord has done. The significance of Thanksgiving transcends the national holiday the State has made it, because for us it goes beyond the boundaries of the good life God has granted to the citizens of this wonderful country. The heavenly vision that has brought all of us into an eternal relationship with the Father that is beyond anything this world could offer. I am thankful today for having you as a member of my spiritual family and a co-worker on His field of salvation. You have held high the banner of grace when you accepted us with our imperfections and continued to work alongside with us in Haiti for the sake of drawing many to the side of His love; of forgiveness when we have been wrong, of joy to remind us the reason we are here on this planet which is to serve the cause of the Master; of peace by teaching us to remain closer to the Author of peace; of provision when our storage has ran empty and you experience replenishment. You deserve that we thank the Lord for you. Thank you for being a vital part of our existence now and beyond this life. Please forgive the sins of the turkey and enjoy the freedom of putting on a few pounds. You pay your taxes; you deserve to make the turkey scream. Just agree with Irv Kupcinet who said that “an optimist is a person who starts a new diet on Thanksgiving day.” Love you all. Happy Thanks giving. Yves Prophete |
