Pastor Training

An American pastor’s training team shares their experience.

We believe that we are commanded to make disciples, not just converts. A disciple is knowledgeable about his or her faith and knows what God’s word says. We grow the members of our congregations by training their pastors.

These pastors are often appointed to leadership based on their life experience and demonstrated maturity. They are church elders who teach. However, almost none of them have formal Biblical education.

We overcome this by bringing western pastors to teach our pastors in 3-5 day conferences several times a year. These conferences may cover a general topic in Scripture or they may teach through a book of the Bible.
